As part of our new automation updates, promoters can now select whether their email is for "transactional" or "marketing" purposes. Importantly, this boosts compliance with anti-spam laws by enabling fans to opt-out of marketing messages, while still receiving important transaction messages (such as order confirmation messages, important ticketing information, or other important event information).

A minor change can be a massive time saver! We listened to customer feedback and have now added a character count to SMS messages created within the Automation feature. This means you'll know exactly how close you are to surpassing the character count for sending 1 SMS message, and be able to prevent unnecessarily sending 2 messages instead.
